Maybe I don't understand the point of Wikipedia but my basic understanding is that it's an open system that anyone can contribute to.

Meaning, that if you see a Wikipedia entry you don't agree with, let's say for example Search Engine Marketing, and you feel strong enough to write a blog post about it.  Why wouldn't you just edit the Entry to make it synch with your view of the world?
